Adversity is never easy, but God never wastes it.

We often pray for our trials to end as quickly as possible. Yet Scripture reminds us that God uses even our hardest moments to shape us, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for eternity.

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” — 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NLT)

God doesn’t call evil good, but He is so powerful that He can bring good out of even the darkest circumstances. As Romans 8:28 reminds us, He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Perhaps the adversity our nation is facing today is setting the stage for spiritual awakening. Throughout history, God has often brought revival after seasons of hardship.

So don’t lose heart. Keep praying. Stay in God’s Word. Share your faith. Trust that the Lord is at work—even when you can’t yet see what He’s doing.
