This evening the Cadets conducted a Test Purchase on Wimbledon Chase, testing shops that failed a few months ago. All passed, but a new shop that was tested failed and sold them wine 🍷@MPSMertonPark SNT who supported this operation took necessary action against the shop.

Yesterday evening Merton Cadets conducted a Test Purchase Operation with @MPSMerton SNT along Kingston Road. They tested six shops and were successful in buying alcohol in five. Appropriate Police action will be taken against those shops.

Yesterday Senior Cadets had a visit from the PolSA Team and learnt about the techniques they use to search for objects as tiny as sim cards! Well done Cadets and thanks to the Officers for coming to speak to us 👏

TSG U54 had a great time on Monday showing @MertonVPC at Melrose School in Mitcham what the TSG do. The cadets learned about our roles and even practiced some shield tactics with the team! Great team work and enthusiasm. Thanks for having us!

Junior Cadets from @sherwoodprimary assisted with #opsceptre today, supported by SNT. They conducted a weapons sweep in the local area, helping to keep everyone safe. Nothing was found but the Cadets worked really hard searching high & low.

Senior Cadets spent yesterday on Wimbledon Common for the #MarsdenMarch. They directed 5000 walkers around the Windmill Cafe, cheering them on whilst showing real enthusiasm all day. Great job Cadets!

Cadets from @cricketgreensch had a special visit from @NPASSouthEast today. They watched some exciting footage from inside the helicopter & tried on the helmets the crew wear 🚁

Cadets from @cricketgreensch took part in Junior Road Watch today. They used a speed gun to check the speed of cars passing their school, then questioned drivers as to why they were speeding & gave them a telling off!
