Will never forget your year on the Thunder, watching you lead a young squad to compete every night. Always demanding the best from yourself and those around you. I love ya CP!
everyone is celebrating the potential firing of Nico, and I get it, I want his ass sent to Timbuktu. but his firing will hurt just as much as the day of the trade, not bc he’s gone, or will be missed, but bc it will confirm the dark reality that this idiot really sent away our most beloved player on an ego trip. We lost it all bc one man thought he was cooking. and it didn’t even take a year to confirm it was a complete & utter failure. at least trades like PG gave Clipper fans a few fun playoff runs. they were good. it took 40 games for the wheels to completely fall off, we lost Luka for 1 quarter of “what could be” with a fully healthy Kai, AD & crew. it was so disastrous, the only way it can be interpreted as is a spit in face of fans. he’s lamented he “didn’t know” just how important Luka was to fans until after the trade. I mean the whole thing is ridiculous. We lost Luka because one man, and it can’t be undone. He’s never coming back, that era is over, and his firing is just a bleak reminder that it never needed to happen. sure we can close the book and move on, but the damage is done. damn you, Nico Harrison. You deserve all the boos, all the heckling. Your time in the NBA will be remembered by one move, an utter failure, an idiot. you thought your name mattered more than the players, and now you’ll get the infamy you so desperately wanted.
Jennifer Lawrence says Kourtney Kardashian is “more annoying than ever” on ‘The Kardashians’ during Vanity Fair’s lie detector:
“Everything has to be an announcement… just wear whatever you want. Or ‘I don’t have a TV in my room…’ just don’t watch TV”

Sam Presti takes every Thunder player to visit the memorial at some point in their career to understand what the city has been through. It’s really incredible to see it juxtaposed with photos of the parade.
It's interesting, in my 40+ years I've never shown clips to my teams of NBA defense. Offensive sets and individual moves, but never defense. Until this past season. We watched the Thunder at least 3x a week. Their switching, loading up to help, and rotations are awesome. And they are still so young!!!
OKC:
- valued the regular season, took it seriously, competed almost every night
- valued defense, played at an elite level
- shares the ball, even with SGA's style, everyone gets touches
- plays unselfishly
- had to build things the right way by trading stars and being patient
- took swings on winning players.
This is a story worth rooting for if you are not a rival.
If you are a rival, by all means, hate them, that's good sports hate. But this is a phenomenal story of a team doing what everyone wants their team to do and actually MAYBE POSSIBLY JUST ONE TIME KNOCK ON WOOD having it work out instead of fortune favoring the markets.
Imagine telling these two, nine years ago while they were grinding in the G League, that they’d be heading to an NBA Western Conference Finals together one day.
