For a year and a half, I have been creating organically connected holobuildings for the entire city called Holocity. It will be a design of Megacity Pyongyang.

How to Enter

I have always loved the idea of #community designed #skins. Just comment an image of your entry below, ensuring it provides as much detail as possible from different angles.

See the image on this post as an example of what an ideal submission would look like!

We will start to review entrants after 1-2 weeks and choose some winners internally. Our concept artists will then review the winning designs & brush them up and/or adjust them where needed.

Once our concept artists have finished making any updates, our highly talented #3D team will turn you dream #skin design into a reality & release it for people to buy & wear inside the #Earth2 #Metaverse!

If you win, you will be referenced or tagged when the skin is released. Don't worry, if yours is not chosen this time there will be other opportunities ahead.

Some Rules

I cannot list ALL of the rules, but there are quite a few things entrants need to consider:

🔷in order to be selected you will need to provide detailed artwork from multiple angles so our #3D team can successfully model the design. Our concept artists also may alter designs where necessary to fit our #3D development pipeline.

🔷submissions will need to avoid any IP infringements and guarantee their work is their own. All #skins released by #Earth2 to date have been fully developed by our team from scratch following a very strict process from concept art to creation and we plan to maintain that approach.

🔷designs should be general proportion for female / male body types for now. Designs should also avoid situations that may cause excessive clipping in an animated / in motion 3D character (i.e no super puffy jackets, pants, loose clothing, other things that would cause excessive internal clipping). If you ignore these guidelines your submission will be skipped.

#Earth2 (#E2V1) is a 1:1 scale digital version of our planet Earth so given it's size, optimisations are key for us. This means there will be certain technical limitations on #skins and #clothing items. So over complicated designs or designs our team deem may cause optimisation issues will also be skipped.

Timeframe

It is important to note that #winners of this competition will not see their #skins released for at least another 2-3 months. Our team already has a number of other #community #skins they are currently working on in addition to some #Earth2 skins & items which are scheduled for release over the next 6-8 weeks.

Remember above all this is a fun thing! I'd much rather our team release #community #designed #skins, so even if your design isn't chosen you can still congratulate those that were chosen and try again next time!

@kissy8506 @theshaneisaac I agree with you and everyone else's comments. Firstly, when staking for the Imining, I collected more than 10,000 essences per day many times, and compared to that, Cydroid must be a very small result. However, Cydroid is the only way to acquire the essence other than from Tile.

@E2Sherpa Each Holobuilding takes between a week and a month in most cases. If you look at it, the entire city is connected by the Holo Building (road network, continuity of buildings), and the total construction time is about 1 year and 6 months. Of course, I made it only when I had time.

The Holo Building to be introduced this time is the Grand People's Study House located in front of Kim Il-sung Square. There are not many materials on North Korean buildings, and this building in particular suffered from a lot of pillars. #Earth2 #TheShaneIsaac #Holobuilding
