I've already gone through the five stages of grief with Dragon Age.

Some of you have only just reached denial.

Origins was lightning in a bottle. The original creators have said it was conceived as a standalone, and honestly... it explains a lot.

EA didn't think they had the next Mass Effect. They let BioWare cook because nobody expected Origins to become what it did.

Then it sold.

EA looked at Dragon Age 2 and basically went, "That was cute. Make another one. You have about twelve minutes."

The rest is history.

People keep asking me if I want an Origins remake.

Absolutely the fuck not.

I know exactly what a 2026 remake looks like.

They'd spend five years "reimagining" it, announce they're being "faithful to the spirit of the original," and then hand me a game that's about as faithful as the live-action Mulan was to the cartoon.

No offence to my American friends but so many Americans on here seem to forget that other people exist outside of America. I keep seeing Americans complaining about the wildfire smoke and being like “oh, it’s just Canada.” Um?? People live here you know… fireman are out there fighting over 100 wildfires that are destroying millions of acres of land not to mention homes and communities.

It’s like when America has a crisis, Canadians show support but then when Canada has a crisis, Americans laugh and complain if it affects them in any way. Its gross.

And maybe this isn’t true overall but it’s at least what I’ve seen a lot of and it’s annoying me today.
