I have heard of Tenwek hospital but nothing prepared me for how big their Cardiothoracic centre is.
They have arguarbly the biggest Cardio specialized centre in Africa even, KNH doesnt come close.
Apparently people travel from far and wide to come here since their charges are quite fair compared to other private hospitals, probably coz its a mission hospital.
If u dint know ,now you know 😁
WE ARE AT HALF A MILLION SHILLINGS!🥹
OMG!
I keep staring at these numbers and I still can't believe it.
KES 300,000+ on Mchanga. KES 200,000+ on M-Pesa. Half a million shillings raised in 4 days, by people who owed me nothing.
I became a nurse to heal others.
I never imagined that one day, an entire nation of strangers would be the ones healing me.
Every single contribution carries a story I'll never know.
Someone's last KES 200, someone's decision to skip something for themselves so I could get one step closer to living.
I feel every one of them.
To Kenyans on X, to every well-wisher, to everyone who has given, shared, or simply whispered a prayer for me ASANTE SANA🥹🩷.
You have turned my fear into hope, one shilling at a time.
We are halfway to Sh6M. The road to my transplant, to getting my life back.
It's getting shorter because of you.
Please, if you can, keep going with me. If you can't give, keep sharing. We are so close to something I once thought impossible

Woke up today still feeling the weight of last night's dialysis.
The exhaustion, the side effects that don't let you rest even when your body is begging for sleep.
This is what living with kidney failure looks like, day after day.
Right now we're at KES 220,000 on M-Pesa and KES 319,000 on Mchanga.
I'm TRULY grateful for every shilling of it.
But I'd be lying if I said the pace hasn't slowed down these past few days, and time is not something I have a lot of.
My kidneys aren't waiting, and neither is my heart.
I don't want to keep going through nights like last night. I don't want dialysis to be the shape of my life. I want the transplant that gives me my future back.
I can't get there without you.🥹
If you've been meaning to give but haven't yet, please don't wait.
If you've already given, could you share this once more? Someone in your timeline might be the contribution that pushes us forward.
I'm tired, but I'm not giving up. Please don't give up on me either. 🙏

My second dialysis Session this week Have just started some few minutes ago.
This machine has kept me alive, but it's also a reminder of everything I'm fighting to leave behind.
The needles, the fatigue, the hours I spend here instead of living my life.
Every contribution, your 50 bob, your 100 bob, all the way to the thousands isn't just money to me.
It's a step closer to the day I walk out of a transplant theatre and never have to sit in this chair again.
I know not everyone can give much, and honestly, it's never been about the amount.
It's the fact that you saw me, and you cared enough to send something. That alone gets me through sessions like this one.
Thank you for fighting to get me out of this chair for good. 🙏

Four days ago I was scared to even hit post.
Today I'm sitting here overwhelmed, watching Kenyans do what Kenyans do best.
Show up for one another.
KES 186,000 on M-Pesa. KES 286,000 on Mchanga. That's KES 472,000 raised so far, and every shilling of it came from someone who chose to care about a stranger's story
I won't pretend this journey has been easy 🥹
The hospital visits, the dialysis, the fear of what happens if I don't get this transplant in time.
But these last four days have given me something I didn't expect: hope, carried by people I've never met.
We're getting closer, but we're not there yet.
If you've already given, thank you — you are the reason I still believe.
If you haven't, or if you can share this one more time, please do. Every post, every retweet, every shilling brings me closer to living the life I was fighting so hard to save.
