@ChrisGeorgeBerg @KeeperOfGamingY @AtheistTakes We have no idea who wrote the Gospels as they are all anonymous. So you don't really have any basis that their authors were contemporaries of Jesus.

The only epistles whose scholars acknowledge authorship with high confidence are Paul's letters. Paul was a contemporary of Jesus.

Sadly I failed to see any coherent, rational critique of atheism in all of that rhetoric. Venting about how atheism makes you upset doesn't show in any way that atheism is incoherent, irrational, etc.

@KeeperOfGamingY @AtheistTakes That argument doesn't actually establish Luke as a reasonable candidate. At best it establishes that someone associated with Paul's mission, unless you have further evidence to indicate that it was Luke specifically.

Peter and John aren't historians
