@Ratiolus I don't care about your gripes with the behavior of individual atheists.
I'm curious if you have a critique of atheism itself. Do you have that? Or do you just have rhetoric?
@StormPath1989@dcheeseater@AtheistTakes@doofgeek4011 It is an intentionally bad argument. Math denial is a pretty bad argument. Also nothing in the meme says anything about being superior, so that's an added element made to look the argument look bad.
@ChrisGeorgeBerg@KeeperOfGamingY@AtheistTakes We have no idea who wrote the Gospels as they are all anonymous. So you don't really have any basis that their authors were contemporaries of Jesus.
The only epistles whose scholars acknowledge authorship with high confidence are Paul's letters. Paul was a contemporary of Jesus.
@Ratiolus Yeah that's an incredible polemic against a massive strawman.
Sadly I failed to see any coherent, rational critique of atheism in all of that rhetoric. Venting about how atheism makes you upset doesn't show in any way that atheism is incoherent, irrational, etc.
@yestomany@AtheistPhoenix If you can provide a reason for why your myth is actually true then I'd be more than happy to try it! Because as it stands I basically have no reasons to accept your beliefs here.
@Togasweatyfeet@YYYYYAHOOO@AtheistTakes Yeah I'm asking how it's incorrect. Simply stating "it's wrong because it's wrong" doesn't provide any sort of explanation as to why it's wrong to begin with.
@KeeperOfGamingY@AtheistTakes That argument doesn't actually establish Luke as a reasonable candidate. At best it establishes that someone associated with Paul's mission, unless you have further evidence to indicate that it was Luke specifically.
Peter and John aren't historians
