Great morning at the @MuseumsAssoc conference 😁 and wonderful to take those fascinating conversations on #Museums2023 global with our @britmusITP colleagues during the breaks.

Thought provoking session on the crisis in English civic museums. A range of ideas for future ways forward but agreement that ‘arts, heritage & culture are not the icing on the cake’ but ‘a critical social service’ #Museums2023

[Claire Messenger @Message_Claire]

Brilliant session. Fascinating provocations and the message ‘just do it’ shone through #Museums2023

With the @britmusITP at the Disability representation and rights panel.

How museums can develop anti-ableist approaches to rethink disability representation?

The perfect discussion to start the 2023 Museums Association’s conference!!
