We've had a decent amount of rainfall in the last two days. Marshalltown saw over half an inch and Iowa City saw just over a third of an inch. - Hannah
Even though we saw some showers in Dubuque earlier this afternoon the sky has cleared out and there is lots of sunshine. Scattered showers will still be possible across the area through the early evening. - Hannah
Radar Update: Light showers and storms are moving through Linn and Johnson Counties this afternoon. However, more widespread rain is expected overnight. - Hannah

It was hot on Labor Day and we have one more hot day on Tuesday before it finally starts to cool down. Highs on Wednesday through Friday will be in the low 80s. - Hannah
Tomorrow is the first Monday of the new school year! Temperatures will be in the 60s with lots of sunshine as you get on the bus. Highs in the afternoon will reach the 80s with more sunshine. - Hannah
Since temperatures for the next several days will be in the 90s it will be important to check the backseat before locking your car doors. When the outside temperature is 95 it only takes 10 minutes for the inside of your car to reach 114. - Hannah
