👀 Auditions are THIS WEEK for Mineola’s community choir! The Mineola Choral Society is not part of my teaching responsibilities at @mineolahs , I just can’t get enough of joyful choirs so I took over this one! I can answer any questions and help you schedule an audition.

Reunions! A perk of teaching HS is the ease of keeping track of alum. Beautiful visits w the Sellinger family and their combined !6! perfect children. Nathan & I had lunch before he starts his 2nd year teaching chorus, & a quick goodbye to my Nat before she leaves for Nazareth❤️

8th grade chorus proudly presents Storm and his backup singers (Eric, Matt, Aidan, Joe) performing “Rain on the Roof,” from Thompson’s famous piano book “Teaching Little”Fingers to Play.” Only one lesson - tomorrow it’ll be Rhapsody in Blue!

Continuing their spring theme “Evolution of Pop Music,” the mixed chorus learned the 12-bar blues form on ukulele. We proudly present “Hound Dog,” sung by us and accompanied by us as well 😎

👀 The Mineola Choral Society will be presenting Haydn’s masterpiece “The Creation” on Sunday afternoon. Several @MineolaUFSD community members and all sorts of other wonderful people will come together for this performance. Come check us out!

I have so thoroughly enjoyed making music with these musicians in our small but mighty choir at @MolloyUNews in my first concert there. They took a chance with the New Kid and we had a ball together. Congratulations Vocal Ensemble! #MolloyUniversity 🦁

Our brilliant @_alexisp_ just finished ANOTHER honor choir experience, this time the @NAfME all-eastern choir with the extraordinary Dr. Ferdinand. This future music educator spent nearly every school vacation this year singing, and that’s something to be #mineolaproud of.❤️🎶❤️

Loved career day led by @MineolaGuidance bc I got to see alum Frank Lao (‘09) a freelance musician with a degree from @UDelaware, my alma mater. You can see the blue and gold M&Ms he gave me on Decision Day in 2009 (not gross I swear. They’ve aged like fine wine). #MineolaProud
