I'm no expert on soccer but if I'm following:

USMNT's Flo Balogun stepped on the ankle of a Bosnia defender while going for the ball. Clearly accidental.

No card given but VAR recommended a red card review based on slow motion, which is against VAR protocol.

Balogun gets a red card, the US had to play a man down & now will also be without their best striker in the match vs Belgium.

FIFA has no mechanism to appeal a World Cup red card & they can upgrade the suspension to as many matches as they want.

Messi stepped on an ankle in the group stage & wasn't even given a yellow card.

Is this really how this works?

Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby’s injunction to play in 2026, makes Tennessee QB Joey Aguilar’s denial to play this season even more shocking 🍊

Sorsby, who placed at least 40 bets involving Indiana as a quarterback for the Hoosiers, has been granted an injunction to be immediately eligible for the 2026 season in a Lubbock County Court.

Sorsby also used sportsbook accounts registered to family members and friends to wager roughly $90,000 over four years.

Aguilar, who led the SEC in passing this past season, was denied an injunction for an extra year of eligibility in a Knox County court in early 2026.

Aguilar was seeking eligibility to play a fourth season of D1 FBS football.
