@EP42_ The available evidence does not support the hypothesis.
It is for the person making the claim to provide evidence in support of their assertion. There is no burden on anyone else to “disprove” it.
@andyluvv@GMPMuseum @LGBTpoliceuk @GMPPrideNetwork @grahamwettone@alfiemoore Indeed.
We tell the truth because it’s the right thing to do, not because we place our hand on a book and make a wish.
Please consider leaving a tribute to the fallen officers we remember today as part of the #NPMD21 event.

The tribute wall is an opportunity to share memories and thoughts with families, colleagues and friends on this special day. #PoliceFamily

HRH Prince Philip was a dedicated public servant for over 70 years and a decorated veteran of World War II. Our heartfelt condolences go out the members of The Royal Family at this difficult time. #RIP
It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
If you don't want your family finding out you're no longer religious, or if you are gay, bi, or trans, there's a way to edit your personal census data without your household finding out. This is important RT. More info: https://t.co/gmWemW6TML #Census2021#TickNoReligion
@colinsutton@BBCNews 3/ Transpires that if you read the story, the child was offered food and drink regularly during her period of detention but refused every offer.
Obviously we want to minimise the length of time children are in detention but there wasn’t really even a story there.
@colinsutton@BBCNews I can remember a BBC headline a good few years back “Girl spends 18 hours in police custody without food or water” (or similar headline), which I and others challenged. /2
Today is the International Day of #ZeroTolerance for Female Genital Mutilation. As today reminds us, bodily integrity is a human right and we must all commit ourselves to ending the horror of FGM everywhere on this planet. Children have rights - it's as simple as that. #EndFGM RT
This moment is a great test for societies everywhere. Ambitious rollout plans. World-class science. Ordinary people pulling together - all to bring our current challenges to an end.
We've put more information about the vaccine rollout on our website.

With no much in the news about 'vaccine hesitancy', it's good to be able to show that our community hasn't been taken in by fake news or conspiracy theories. As well as taking the vaccines when we can, many of our members will be volunteering locally with vaccine rollout efforts.
This shouldn't come as a surprising result. Humanists are non-religious people who base their views and decisions on consideration of the best available evidence, looking to science for answers, and guided by compassion and empathy for other people and other living things.
In a recent survey, a whopping 95% of our members said they would be taking the coronavirus vaccine when it is offered to them. A further 1% were unable to take it due to allergies.
