[AGMA @AGMusicalArtist]

AGMA has played a key role in securing $5M in State Funding for the Met Opera. We organized, we lobbied, and we showed up TOGETHER for the future of opera. When artists take collective action, real change happens. Together we will: https://t.co/jvwFZiG8Ea

Be sure to read "1 day in the life of a Met chorister" which follows Maria D'Amato through a typical day at @MetOpera.

[Metropolitan Opera @MetOpera]

According to @MetOperaChorus member Maria D’Amato, the choristers are the “unsung heroes” of the opera house! Recently, @Gothamist joined D’Amato to experience the extraordinary work of the Met Chorus!

In the decades after its 1898 premiere, the opera “Fedora” fell out of favor, written off by critics as a crowd-pleasing melodrama lacking in substance and artistry. It’s now returning to the Met in a new production. https://t.co/Ce65pYcycq
