I've been looking through England's lower leagues for potential FM27 saves with a custom database.

Here are some of the best I've found:

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Tier 10

Route One Rovers - Despite the name, the club actually says it wants to play attractive, possession-based football. Sean Dyche would be disgusted.

Swindon Supermarine Reserves - The club has roots in the company behind the legendary Spitfire aircraft. What a name and backstory.

Diss Town - A Norfolk club founded in the 1880s, nicknamed the Tangerines. Unfortunately, I'm mainly interested because they're called Diss.

Infinity - Imagine taking a club called Infinity all the way to the Premier League.

Eagles Land Benfica - A British-Albanian club in London with Benfica in its name. Feels like I've accidentally downloaded the Portuguese leagues.

FC Deportivo Galicia - Founded by Galician immigrants in London in 1968, with a name inspired by Deportivo La Coruña. Class.

London Samurai Rovers - Founded for London's Japanese community in 2017. Surely one of the best names in English football.

FC Baresi - A London club founded in 1997 that plays in red and black. Sounds like AC Milan have secretly got a team in the tenth tier.

Marcelona - Formerly known as Newbury Forest before changing their name in 2026. An outrageous rebrand that I fully support.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Tier 9

FC Isle of Man - An island club that plays in the English pyramid and even pays for visiting teams' travel and accommodation. What a save.

Penistone Church - Founded in 1906 with a genuinely fascinating history. Unfortunately, I'm about 12 years old mentally.

Cockfosters - A proper club with over 100 years of history. Once again, I'm mainly here for the name.

Corinthian-Casuals - Their predecessors inspired the creation of Brazil's Corinthians and once beat Manchester United 11-3. One of the best backstories in football.

Metropolitan Police - Founded in 1919, originally made up of serving police officers. You just know the away fans have some chants ready.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Tier 8

Hashtag United - Started as a YouTube team and climbed so far up the pyramid that they actually asked to be relegated in 2026. Ridiculous story.

Punjab United - A club founded by British Sikhs in Gravesend that went from Sunday league football to the eighth tier. Love everything about this one.

South Park (Reigate) - Nothing to do with the cartoon, unfortunately, but the thought of South Park winning the Champions League is enough for me.
