On GLP-1, the injection is only one part of the journey.
The habits around it matter too. 💙
Prioritising protein, strength training, and staying hydrated can help you make the most of your GLP-1 journey while supporting muscle and overall health.
Small habits. Consistent effort. Better results.
Save this for your GLP-1 journey.

You do not need to eat differently. You need to eat a little smarter with what is already on your plate.
Turmeric without fat or pepper barely gets absorbed. Fresh rice spikes blood sugar more than the same rice cooled and reheated. A dry salad means most of its vitamins pass right through you.
None of this requires new ingredients or a new diet. It just requires knowing what your food actually needs to work for you.
Save this. Try one of these at your next meal.

Namkeen, chips, samosas, kachori, the savory snack aisle is where most daily calorie creep quietly happens.
A study across North and South Indian adults found savory snacks were the most preferred snack category, with half the participants eating them 3 to 5 times a week. Frequent snackers had more than double the odds of obesity and central obesity compared to those who snacked rarely, along with higher fasting glucose levels.
Most of this wasn't happening out of hunger. The same study found cravings, habit, and simple availability were bigger drivers than actual appetite, most snacks were bought outside and eaten at home in front of the TV.
The fix isn't cutting snacking out entirely. It's noticing how often it's happening on autopilot, not appetite.
Save this. Share it with someone who snacks in front of the TV without noticing how often.

Most people still treat GLP-1 as a shortcut.
It isn't. It's a protocol — bloodwork, dosing decisions, protein targets, resistance training, and a doctor watching all of it.
That gap is why we built @MetaGOhealth.

Your daily chai may be adding more sugar than you realise. ☕️
2–3 cups a day with 2 tsp of sugar each can quickly add up.
Try:
→ Reduce sugar by ½ tsp per cup
→ Gradually move towards unsweetened chai
→ Limit added sugar in other drinks
→ Pair chai with a balanced snack
You don’t have to give up chai. Just reduce the sugar, one small change at a time.

Protein shakes aren’t a must on GLP-1. Whole-food protein should come first, but if low appetite or GI symptoms make it hard to meet your needs, a shake can help.
Your MetaGO health coach can help you figure out what works for your body and journey.

Flexitarian = flexible + vegetarian 🌱
It’s a plant-forward way of eating where vegetables, dals, whole grains, fruits & nuts are the default, while meat is eaten occasionally.
No calorie counting. No banned foods. Just more plants, more often.

Pomelo is the largest citrus fruit and an underrated choice for weight management. 🍊
~600g peeled pomelo = ~230 calories, with fibre, protein, Vitamin C, potassium & antioxidants.
Not a “superfood” just a really good fruit that deserves more attention.
One bite doesn’t ruin your day. 🍴
The real spiral often starts with: “I’ve already messed up, so it doesn’t matter anymore.”
It’s not the food - it’s the all-or-nothing thinking. Sustainable habits come from learning to continue, not chasing perfection.

Most people think exercise burns most of your calories. But most daily calorie burn actually comes from basic functions like breathing, circulation & keeping your organs working.
Exercise matters - but sustainable weight loss is about more than workouts alone.

Many “brown” breads are still made with refined flour (maida) 🍞 The colour may come from caramel or molasses - not whole grains.
For better fibre & nutrition, check the label: look for 100% whole wheat/whole grain as the first ingredient.
Losing weight on GLP-1 isn't just about the number on the scale. Without enough protein and resistance training, you could lose muscle too and muscle helps support your metabolism. Strength training isn't optional; it's one of the best ways to protect your results.

A medically supervised GLP-1 program doesn't just assess eligibility - it also screens for contraindications. A history of thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, or an ongoing/planned pregnancy requires a doctor's evaluation first. That's what true medical guidance looks like.
A 2020 study found that people with depression have a 58% higher risk of developing obesity, largely through stress-driven eating, disrupted sleep, and reduced activity.
A medically supervised approach acknowledges the physical and emotional dimensions gives people a real chance.
Losing weight is one challenge. Keeping it off is another. The habits that matter most? ✅ Protein at every meal ✅ Strength training to preserve muscle ✅ Enough sleep to help regulate hunger. Just the fundamentals that make results last.
