@InstantReplay17@Starlight_nova_ Id argue he fully was about to save her over everyone else until she called him out on it though and basically told him it was ok to let her die and save everyone else. He didn’t really make the choice, she did. He just respected it.
@MajikTayuya Because if he was born July 15, 1985 and his mother died June 17th, 1994 he would have been 8 years 11 months 2 days old, which doesn’t flow as well on a manga panel instead of just saying “9 years old”. The alternative is Kubo just messed up a bit when he gave the dates.
@MajikTayuya Trust me, I’ve read the manga. I’m well aware of those panels. These are dates and timelines Kubo gave. So like I said, either he rounded up in that first panel or he messed up his timeline. Both are very possible. Timelines are hard to keep track of
@MajikTayuya Ichigo was born July 15, 1985. His mom died. His mother died June 17th, 1994. Thousand year blood war takes place between June 10th to June 19th of 2003.

@Shinigami216426 Ichigo is 17 during TYBW. He turns 18 like 3 week after. His DOB is July 15, 1985. TYBW takes place between June 10th (12th if you go off the Wandenreich's actual decleration of war) and June 19th. Ichigo's mother died on June 15th when he was 9, hence 9 years having passed.
@__Aizensama__@ZBrag102 Yeah, it took me looking at the timeline to realize the Quincy Blood War takes places right before Ichigo's eighteenth birthday. He isn't doing a good job explaining himself, but it checks out. It ends on June 19th, basically just short of four weeks before Ichigo's birthday.
@Gaganmay31 I agree. The writers of LoK never knew if they were getting a next season for basically every season. There were also so many production issues with the show caused by the studio. It doesn’t excuse some of their poor writing, but it does at least contextualize it.
@moorimdumpling@tingtingtooo Been a minute since I read that section, but there is nothing explicitly stating he put everyone in the area to sleep as far as I remember.
He is certainly smart enough to think to do it, but also emotionally distraught enough not to do it.
