Follow your dreams, people. Alice in Chains ‘Dirt’ was the first CD I ever bought. “Last Of My Kind” is by far my favorite AIC track of the William DuVall era of the band. When I heard I would get a chance to do this song with Metal Allegiance and William, I worked really hard to do the Jerry vocal harmonies and nail many of the nuances of the song to the best of my ability. It’s an honor to finally meet and jam with William as well as the great Mark Menghi Mike Portnoy and Andreas Kisser. This is something I’ll always remember.

I’ve been so busy playing all week I’ve barely had time to post. Huge thanks to everyone in the @metalallegiance camp! Thank you to @MarkMenghi for having the faith in me to keep giving me more and more challenging material. This year was amazing. I fulfilled a dream of mine to perform with the legendary William Duvall of Alice In Chains and it’s just a pleasure to be able to rock out some of my favorite musicians of my life. This was fun the other night. Many thanks to @metalallegiance for inviting me to join their ranks. It was great to debut our new single, “Black Horizon,” onstage, as well as jam some classics by our own respective bands and some of our heroes.

Thanks to all the incredible musicians who showed up to play. It was such an honor to share the stage with you and to meet so many of you for the first time. It was also nice to see some old friends again.

Shout out to the kids in @chained_saint_ for playing a rockin’ support set. I know you made some new fans that night.

Speaking of fans, most importantly, thank you to every one of you who filled the place to listen. Without you, none of this is possible.

An evening I won’t soon forget.
