@elonmusk That would mean your ability to have launch platforms in the EU/UK would be removed. You have those bases on the grounds that you are part of NATO. This is based on your assurances when NATO was formed. I agree, if you’re out of NATO we can look after ourselves.
@narindertweets Haha, I enjoy the research done here over something trivial and when people should do a bit of research and thinking over topics they just swallow the headlines while. Mugs.
Ok, I fully understand that point having lived in Telford when crimes like this were going on. But how does that equate to my question about the evidence that “particular” claim has made about the individuals in those images? Are they angry because they are nearby (which is fair) or have they committed a crime and reported it? I’ve only asked for evidence either way.
Yes, I do agree on that. I’ve been looking into their business practices and because of of high staff and low profit margin yes this NI hike could be that straw. It is a contributing factor, but they have seen declining sales and high street footfall over the years. I’m not pleased that this is happening in anyway. But equating a 3 month old budget as the sole reason for this is where people are exercising their own politics/displeasure as the reason when there is more to this than just the NI hike.
Yes I know this. My point is - this isn’t why WH Smith’s is going out of business. There are other factors preceding this. If we look over the last 10 years or so, high street shopping has been in decline and during Covid it was hammered. I’m not sure if it’s picked up again, but it did at Xmas. These closures have affected many businesses across the country before this budget. To say that this budget has caused them to close down is disingenuous.
Can you link me to any evidence to support this claim please? Because NI increases wouldn’t have bankrupted a company that was operating in profit. Despite what you want to believe 14 years of running down the economy and this is the outcome. Should your question be - what should labour do to help companies like this then that is a different matter. It’s disingenuous to state that a 3 month old budget has even contributed to this if you’re happy to ignore the tories 14 years of mismanagement.
@deecelt@MarinaPurkiss@JeremyVineOn5 According to your own press agencies Donald Trump is a convicted felon for falsifying business records in the hush money scandal.
@highpeakchris@Goosey30111568 Correct. So what we’re saying is 14 years of austerity, leaving the EU, worst cost of living crisis in my lifetime, rising bills and decreasing wages hasn’t been caused by 14 years of austerity (and the money received from government during covid) but a 3 month old budget?
@Goosey30111568 So using your logic: any business that fails now is the fault of a 3 month old budget? Not 14 years of mismanaging finances or leaving the EU? Try researching you tiny bellend.
@23rdian@Goosey30111568 So she’s set one budget in October. And the tories set 14 of them. So are you saying the W H Smiths was excellently run during those 14 years and one budget 3 months ago has caused them to go out of business? Maybe leaving the EU didn’t help any of this.
