The new DNC strategy is going to be (if not already) pretending to object to candidates while secretly endorsing them

Since 2016 they have tried doubling down on their old ways—and going nuclear on Hasan Piker, El-Sayed, and the general red scare 2.0 is part of this—they can, and already are (El-Sayed, case in point) are using all this to play both sides and sneak in fake “socialist” candidates who are establishment (FDR coded) capitalists in socialist clothing.

liberals only have minor disagreements about execution with the far right

they hate the left because the left represents a radical rethinking of society in a way that rejects the fundamental principles both liberals and the further right take for granted as proper and necessary. They will and do team up to defend those principles.

Modern socialism emerged as a reaction BY WORKERS to the horrors of the industrial revolution, and against the negative effects of industrialization and modernity itself—not against work itself.

In fact, the promises of industrialization and modernization were meant to alleviate people from work through automation.

Roman crucifixion was a pretty common form of execution. The Romans were literally crucifying, hundreds of Jews every day during the siege of Jerusalem (around 70 CE) and about 2000 were crucified during the revolt of Judea (7CE)

there are a lot of good criticisms to be made about the Bible, and Christian theology in general. This is not one of them.
