Not the result we wanted last night, and the year.
But we took a step.

-2 conference wins
-playoff appearance/experience
-historical win
-many other things the scoreboard doesn’t show

Just read a fantastic story in the Metea Valley student newspaper--Mustang Media--about the Mustangs tying the school single-game points record in their home opener last week.

They beat Plainfield Central 56-6.

Charlie Larson isn’t Metea Valley’s QB anymore. But he’s “like the soul of our team,” which he puts first.
Matt Le Cren has the story for #TribSuburbanSports.

"They are gonna have to suffer through hard times to become the team that they wanna be.

This isn't for everybody.

You have to be tough and you gotta be willing to push through some things that are extremely challenging.

There's gonna be some hurt feelings."

If you haven't watched a Jimmy Rogers press conference you should.

I guarantee you'll walk away with more notes than any coaching clinic.
