That’s not to discredit their voice work. I just didn’t hear any “Choom’s” or “Nova’s” or “Gonk’s” in the sub version so it kinda ruins the immersion that these people live in NC.

This would be a decent argument were it not for the fact that Adam Smasher is a major character in the game and S1 and speaks very out of character in the sub with very bland and generic villain lines.
This is why experiencing the source material for any adaptation is important.

Genuinely baffled at the realization that most people watched the dub version of Cyberpunk Edgerunners. I watched both fully and the voice acting quality disparity is too much to just tolerate let alone enjoy

Especially if you’re going to make claims like this for such a character driven and lore rich franchise like Cyberpunk.
The dialect and slang alone had a lot of thought put into it and I’m not even sure the Japanese VA’s incorporated it in their lines much if at all.

People always pull up clips from the animations to try and debunk arguments and say DB made shit up for the fight, when in reality it’s just how MORO animated the fight because he thought it was cool.
The fight animation is just for spectacle people. Focus on the analysis.

So from what I understand, Saitama’s strength is a similar concept to Mahoraga’s adaptation.
It’s a race against the clock for Goku to maintain his headstart in power with his more powerful forms and land the killing blow before Saitama can inevitably close the gap. 🤔
