Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedion Timothewos received and held talks with Ambassador Chen Hai of the People's Republic of China to Ethiopia at his office.

During their discussions, the two sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen the longstanding and unwavering “All-Weather Strategic Partnership” between Ethiopia and China.

They also agreed to further deepen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and capacity building.

Ambassador Chen Hai reaffirmed China's commitment to continuing and enhancing its support for the successful implementation of the Medemer Government's development plans.
