@McClureShawn A simple structure, like a lead pencil, requires a complex explanation; whereas a complex structure, like a gnat, requires no explanation.
@SlenderSkeptic@iamAtheistGirl Of his coming maybe, but we were talking about God's promise to kill the disbeliever. Now your sermon is much less bold.
@SlenderSkeptic@iamAtheistGirl A bold sermon given that so many who once filled the pews now disbelieve. Does the preacher say when God will strike them down?
@SlenderSkeptic@iamAtheistGirl In church they'll tell you "Such and such things are true." To be told, "Tell me that such and such is true or I'll kill myself." I had to step out of church.
@khrachvik The Soviet Union didn't fail? More importantly, is Cuba the example you point to of a light shining on a hill? And when NASA couldn't get two astronauts home, they turned to a company run by a retard to get them out of that jam?
@_GirlSay So unless you have a death certificate you didn't die? And for the tens of thousands of years that people were born without either birth or death certificates, none of them were ever murdered? You classify that Tweet under the heading "Best Arguments"?
I've met Christians who told me that Christ rose from the dead but I've never met ones who asked me to affirm to them that Christ rose from the dead. On the other hand, I have been asked to affirm my transgender friends' gender identity. Apparently we've met very different Christians, but our transgender friends are the same.
@ArchTheAtheist Good point. Hadn't thought of that. But even stronger evidence against God's existence is that fact that he never makes us pancakes for breakfast or ties our shoes before we head off to work. It's the least he could do.
