Still here in Puerta del Sol and thinking, after a load of cameras and comments about how social media has changed politics in many ways for the worse. In both sides, there is an attempt to turn politics into the luxury of opposition. Ernie Bevin didn't want to be in opposition.

Yes there's students and yes there's the mission creep but there is also a significant amount of people who work full time who came to support in Puerta del Sol. That's a fundamental break in the social contract.

Well #acampadaSol has grown since yesterday. And as a reactionary, this is probably the most Spanish people I have seen in Puerta del Sol for a long time.

Carlos normally does excellent stuff on crime and I know writers don't pick there headlines but if the idea of the Puerta del Sol protest (owning your own home when you can biologically have children) is 'radical, then conservativism is in a really poor place.

Decathlon have probably made a bomb on the Puerta del Sol manifestación for Mari Carmen . It's also the first time I haven't seen a Peruvian dressed as a novelty Disney mascot in Sol for years. So another plus.

Again, the shout of "here are the anti fascists" at the Puerta del Sol doesn't make too much sense. It was the Franco era laws that protected most tenants from liberal speculation. That's not a political point, but merely an observation.

A lot of young people here in Puerta del Sol for the outgrowth of the Mari Carmen protest think they are radical communists. In reality they can beat be described as Quakers if they smoked weed. That's not a criticism , merely an observation.
