@SecDuffy Stop the nonsense. EWR move is a failure. Bring the airspace back to N90 where it was designed to be There’s no amount of money that will make the airspace work separated from the rest of the NY airspace. It has to be one. @FAANews@aviationbrk@EWRairport@united
Again last night, frequency failures causing the current delays and holding at Newark. The @FAANews has failed the flying public. They’ve sold @united lies whilst disregarding safety and common sense. This is what happens when the FAA ignores @NATCA input and expertise.
Help us @SecDuffy@elonmusk . The NY airspace had always been meant to be worked together in the same building on the same equipment. The splitting of it continues to show its failures and dangers. Reunite N90. Working 1 airspace from 2 buildings is ridiculous @FAANews
Newark System Meltdown - Again - RADAR and frequency failure yesterday afternoon in the makeshift short staffed RADAR facility in Philly. @FAANews and @united neglected these known potential issues for years. Safety again was compromised. @EWRairport@aviationbrk@ALPAPilots
FAA under Biden allowed this disastrous move. @realDonaldTrump Fix this & bring N90 TRACON back together the way it was intended when it was created following the midair collision over NYC in 1960. The most complex airspace in the world needs to be controlled in 1 facility
Finally, Aviation Safety is the center of discussion in the US. Let’s talk about the disastrous Newark airspace move. Multiple RADAR and radio failures, 0 new certified controllers and bleak future outlook. @aviationbrk@AviationSafety@EWRairport@FAANews@united@UnitedPilots
EWR airspace move is a catastrophe, immediately causing a 27% decline in available controllers to work using equipment that can’t handle & wasn’t designed to handle the bandwidth. This has caused multiple dangerous outages putting the public at immense risk. Return EWR to N90
Newark delays have started. Won't see these delays at JFK & LGA. These delays are directly correlated with the disastrous split of the EWR sector from the NY TRACON to PHL airport. Less controllers, more risk. Send EWR back to N90.
@UnitedPilots@aviationbrk@FAANews@EWRairport
@FAANews will attempt to shift blame on weather and staffing. Beautiful skies in NYC tomorrow & staffing issues caused by this disastrous move. This will continue to get worse for years before they can certify enough people to get back to the staffing level they had in NY.
FAA Newark airspace move failure. No one is held responsible and the fallout effects millions traveling this Thanksgiving day week. @aviationbrk@FAANews@united@EWRairport https://t.co/gFojT3MiJt
FAA's failure in getting trainees certified at Newark Sector in PHL and 1/3 of staff on medical trauma leave due to multiple equipment failures, the public will now suffer massive pre-scheduled delays for T-Day travel. Embarrassing. @FAANews@united@UnitedPilots@EWRairport
Total radio failure at Newark Sector in Philly currently. Planes NORDO all over NY airspace shutting down LGA and JFK also. @FAANews doesn’t care about safety as they continue to attempt to keep this move alive. @AviationNews@united@UnitedPilots@AINonline
Happening again. Newark radio failure all flights grounded. Internal Comm issues at N90 also. How’s the upcoming Thanksgiving travel weekend going to look? Radio AND RADAR failures? This is unacceptable. @AirplaneCentral@FAANews@united@UnitedPilots@EWRairport@AINonline
Last night landline comms at the Newark Area in Philly went down with override issues. Ground stops issued. Unk cause. Just add it to the list of this unsafe, inefficient and ineffective facility move. These problems will continue to get worse. @united@UnitedPilots@EWRairport
