Titans OC Brian Daboll returns to MetLife Stadium on Sunday to face the Giants, the team he coached from 2022-25. The defense he’ll face is coordinated by Dennard Wilson, who was Tennessee’s DC from 2024-25. Former Titans HC Brian Callahan is also on the Giants’ staff as their QBs coach and passing game coordinator.

MLB's max-contract proposal would affect Junior Caminero as much as any player. So I asked him about it, and we got into a discussion about labor, the place of Latin American players in it, what salary caps do to players like LeBron James and why at 23 he wants to be involved.

Today’s surgery is a big one. To find out if my shoulder can be reconstructed in order to suppprt a prosthetic arm. Your continued thoughts and prayers are so appreciated.

Current FanGraphs Wins Above Replacement leaders:

Shohei Ohtani: 5.1
Bobby Witt Jr.: 4.0
Jacob Misiorowski: 3.9
Cristopher Sánchez: 3.7
Yordan Álvarez: 3.6
Pete Crow-Armstrong: 3.5

Witt and PCA are the top two in MLB in Outs Above Average. Great defenders, great players.

Mets win.

Best of the season.

Reds lost.

The Mets control their own destiny.

I believe in the Power of Positivity.

EdWIN!! Never in doubt 😅#LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

Helsley so going to be a big piece for this team in September and October. Can’t write him off just yet, but also can’t trust him in high leverage situations yet either. #LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

Season changing win?? Offense looks different over last few weeks and we have the best closer in baseball. #LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

Manaea rolling with 90 pitches and two lefties coming up. Mendoza has to have a feel for the game and let him pitch. Getting big outs and pitching out of jams can rally a team. #LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

McLean was just the shot in the arm the Mets needed. Perfect time to get hot. #LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

Pete is one of the good guys and such a great moment for him and Mets fans. Incredible call by Gary and he did it against Strider which makes it even sweeter #LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

I have no words for this team anymore #lgm

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

What a mess. Firm believer that starting rotation feeds off each other from start to start. Someone needs to step and set the tone because this is getting ugly #LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

This annoying shameless shtick needs to end lol. Thank God WFAN throws you on when everyone is asleep.

[Keith McPherson @Keith_McPherson]

something special is brewing in queens

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

On the positive side, this team is just streaky enough to go on a win streak no matter who they play. Holmes looked good tonight, Helsley is an absolute weapon in the 8th to setup the best closer in baseball. Better days coming in Queens, they’ll right the ship #LGM

[Mets Daily Talk @MetsDailyTalk]

This team is in such a bad place offensively right now that everything is magnified. Approach at the plate is questionable, constantly getting blown away with fastballs with 2 strikes. Not a lot of confidence even with a win tomorrow going into Milwaukee this weekend #LGM
