Blame Stearns. In 25’, our major issue, We had 3 pitchers that couldn’t pitch past 4th inning but had 10th ranked offense. Stearns remedy. Gut entire offense of reliable but not perfect homegrown fan favorites,replace them with oft injured players,acquire only one starter & bring back the 3 pitchers that couldn’t make it past 4th inn. Brilliant. Why are we surprised #Mets fans ?
