Thank you @NJDCA. So much of what we have accomplished in Metuchen is due to the strong support of Main Street New Jersey and DCA. Special thanks to @GovMurphy, @LtGovOliver and @NewJerseyEDA.
Thanks @njdotcom for the coverage. We're so honored in Metuchen to be named one of eight Great American Main Street Award semifinalists this year by @NatlMainStreet. Can't wait to hear who the winners will be on March 27 in Boston!

@NatlMainStreet Thank you for the recognition. We couldn't have gotten this far without the two transformation strategies that were developed with guidance from @NatlMainStreet. Honored to be in such great company too!
This is an exciting part of our journey that after just 6 short years, we have achieved this recognition! Stay tuned in March 2023 when the official winner is announced – fingers crossed!

Thank you to our Executive Director (Isaac Kremer), Board Members past and present, Borough Council, and especially to all of the volunteers who have helped to get us here, and a very special thank you to all the residents in and around Metuchen keeping our Downtown buzzing.
@mayorbusch knows best. There have been so many ribbon cuttings his arms are probably getting sore. Metuchen has had a net increase of 19 food and dining businesses since 2016. Four more ribbon cuttings today at 11!
Edible Jersey magazine could have gone anywhere in the Garden State for its Fall edition feature yet it chose the Brainy Borough for this expansive food tour. Doesn’t get much cooler than this!

Caught our selfie banner for one last picture before it goes down. In Metuchen #westandtogether. Hat tip to DPW for their hard work making our downtown the best it can be.
He has nearly two decades of experience working with Main Street and historic preservation organizations. He holds an M.A. in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University, a B.A. in Economics and Management from Albion College.
Oh the places you’ll go!
Sharing some bittersweet news that Isaac Kremer, the Metuchen Downtown Alliance’s Founding Executive Director from its inception in 2016, has accepted a position in Princeton effective October 1st.
Isaac is a nationally recognized expert in the Main Street Approach to commercial district revitalization. This approach is comprehensive and incremental, emphasizing grassroots action in four areas – Organization, Promotion, Design, and Economic Vitality.
Thank you to @KathyChangNMG for capturing the importance of the visitor survey to help Metuchen with our next five year plan. Click article for the link where you can complete the survey and give your feedback. @downtownnj@NatlMainStreet
