This result is a huge win for trade unionists.
Labour must now seize the moment and meaningfully shift the balance of power towards working people.

Strong performance from @StephenFlynnSNP tonight, challenging the demonisation of migrants and calling for greater investment in our public services. Refreshing.

If I were to go on TV and talk about Jews in the way that @Nigel_Farage talked about Muslims here on national TV, I would RIGHTLY be called an antisemite, I'd be RIGHTLY out of a job by the end of the week, I'd have my licence to practice RIGHTLY revoked by the regulator and I would be deligitimised and deplatformed.

Happy #MayDay2024 everyone.

There is nowhere left for Gazans to go.
An assault on Rafah makes mass casualties inevitable among the 1.3 million people sheltering there. Government failure to call for immediate #CeasefireNOW & to end all military support for Israel makes them complicit
