BREAKING: 🇻🇳VIETNAM PROPOSES ALLOWING DIGITAL ASSETS AS LOAN COLLATERAL FOR SMEs

Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance has proposed allowing small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) to use digital assets, virtual assets and intellectual property as collateral when applying for bank loans.

The proposal aims to improve access to capital for startups and technology focused companies that often lack traditional assets like real estate but hold valuable digital assets and IP.

The draft law would also encourage banks to evaluate businesses based on cash flow, business performance and growth potential instead of relying heavily on fixed asset collateral.

Could this become a model for other countries exploring crypto friendly lending frameworks?
