��� Dallas Police Shoot Armed Man After SWAT Entry

On August 26, 2025, Dallas police responded to a home on Far Hills Lane after reports of a man armed with a knife who was threatening others and himself.

SWAT officers later entered the residence after repeated commands to come outside were ignored. Two Taser deployments were ineffective before the man advanced toward officers with a knife, prompting officers to open fire.

The man, identified as 46-year-old Martin Benes, died at the scene. No officers or other individuals were injured.
