Yeah, no. A more accurate comparison is a human who “learned art” by doing nothing but tracing.
Tracing teaches you where the lines go, but not why they go there. It teaches you the path, but not the terrain. A human who only traces has developed the skill of copying, not creating.
So when an AI is ‘learning’ art by scraping millions of images it’s not learning to be an artist. It’s learning to be the world’s most sophisticated tracer. It can remix the path it’s been shown, but ask it to draw something truly new, something born from experience, failure, or vision and all it can do is show you the average of every path it’s ever traced.
We mock tracers who try to convince people they’re real artists and regard them as thieves. We will continue to do the same to you idiots who can’t even be bothered to do the tracing yourself.
I really agree with the environmental and moral impacts of ai but we are all sleeping on the psychological impact too, the fact that ai is generally rotting away our brains, making socialisation worse, making us question what we see or even thinking that ai is "better" then real
I am not having the AI discussion on the timeline cus I will NOT be civil about it lol, I ain't got the patience. Generative AI is, across the board, a bad thing - not just for art and artists, but for humanity. I do not give a fuck if you disagree, go away

i think the thing that bugs me most with AI is that the curiosity of trying to do/make/learn something, knowing you might fail or discover something else, is such a driving force of my joy and i'm sad to see it snuffed out by people whose only concept of 'art' is an end result
My extended thoughts on @WWEgames#WWE2K26:
Let’s start with the positives, because there are positives.
Universe Mode is good. Not revolutionary, not groundbreaking — but solid. It works, it’s flexible, and when it clicks, it still delivers the sandbox wrestling experience the series can do so well.
Gameplay is good. The in-ring mechanics feel polished. Animations are smooth, pacing feels right. If you’re already into the core system, this is an improvement — not a reinvention.
Entrance updates are good. Presentation matters in wrestling, and here they’ve clearly invested time. It shows.
The inclusion of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is very good. That’s genuine added value. New talent, new arenas, fresh energy. That’s the kind of expansion that actually feels meaningful.
Now to the less exciting parts.
Showcase is the same thing we’ve been playing for years. Interrupted flow, forced objectives that drag you out of the match instead of immersing you in it. At this point it feels less like a celebration of wrestling history and more like an annual obligation.
MyGM exists. I don’t play it, so I won’t pretend to judge it.
I’m holding off on rating the Creation Suite until I’ve spent more time with it — but let’s be honest: that’s historically where freedom either thrives or gets quietly restricted.
And that’s where the bigger issue starts.
At the end of the day, this is another annual update. A polished one — but still an annual update. And I can’t justify paying full price for it anymore.
With the Battle Pass model and a price tag pushing $150, we’ve drifted into territory that screams “Electronic Arts sports monetization strategy.” Not innovation — monetization optimization.
Separating Community Creations between consoles and PC? There’s realistically one reason to do that: control. Specifically, preventing modding that could theoretically bypass MyFaction content or Battle Pass incentives. It’s not about “platform ecosystems.” It’s about revenue protection.
It’s becoming increasingly obvious that selling MyFaction packs ranks higher on the priority list than letting players freely edit beards, hairstyles, or attires of existing superstars. Cosmetic freedom is restricted — but card packs are endless.
And here’s the uncomfortable truth:
They will never sell us the ultimate wrestling game. Because there always has to be next year.
If they ever gave us the definitive, fully open, deeply customizable, feature-complete wrestling experience — what would justify the next $70–$150 purchase?
So here’s my conclusion:
Too expensive.
Too little freedom.
Too many microtransactions.
Too little transparency regarding DLC superstars (so far).
Fans of the series will still pay $150. And as long as enough people do, the system works.
It just doesn’t work for me anymore.
