Mini movie incoming @NASCAR. Yes, we're launching a 30-minute scripted film featuring six Cup Series drivers.
The idea came from the reaction to our San Diego race announcement video. Fans and non-fans kept commenting that they'd watch that movie.
What started as a crazy idea quickly turned into a strategic opportunity. As a first-year event, how do you market a race when you don't have any race footage, event assets, or history to pull from?
This is more than a content play. It helps us build buzz, showcase drivers' personalities, promote the event, drive tune-in, and create a steady stream of content leading up to race weekend when otherwise we'd have very little.
But beyond that, I think it's a great example of what makes this sport different. The access we have to our drivers, and their willingness to jump into ideas like this, is rare. And they deliver.
Sports should be fun, and I hope this captures that. Proud of the team (& drivers) for thinking big, taking risks, and being willing to put themselves out there in ways you don't often see in sports.

Thank you to @advanceautoparts for a great weekend. It was a good show in Nashville. We came away with some valuable points and a Top 10. Come see us in Michigan. @fordracing@team_penske
