Summer conjures up images of lazy days. This summer, like the past 6 summers, the Milford Education Foundation has been busy developing and cosponsoring the annual OneDayForDayOne program in partnership with the Milford Public Schools.

1D4D1 attendees learned valuable lessons from simple exercises. One task was to draw an animal in 7 seconds after announced by the group leader. Another was to concentrate on listening skills after watching a paper airplane instructional video.

1D4D1: A few sessions on the effect of drumming on heart & soul; another session had attendees participating in a yoga class.

1D4D1 (otherwise known as 'One Day for Day One') got off to to a great start this morning. The 1-day event brings dozens of staff members together to learn, share, and participate in self-help sessions as they prepare for the first day of school.
