Last year I was removed from the Presidential State Of The Union for saying "what about victims of gun violence like my daughter." All I wanted to hear was a President who speaks like this and who prioritizes gun safety. Thank you @JoeBiden, @POTUS for this message yesterday.

so proud!!! @heyilikeyourdog @MfolOcsa

Thread: Placing SROs in our schools has done more harm than good and has cultivated an unsafe learning environment. @MfolOcsa and @mfolflorida did an amazing job on the ground at a school board meeting demanding SROs to be removed from campuses.

BREAKING: Seventeen Walmart locations in Orange County will be able to vaccinate up to 300 people per day under a partnership announced this month between major retailers and the White House, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said Monday. https://t.co/Y99BiOECoQ

Yo, @heyilikeyourdog is a badass. OCSA representing!!!

[March For Our Lives OCSA @MfolOcsa]

Thank you to those who came out to speak truth to power at the board meeting tonight! We hope the Osceola School board carefully reflects on the words spoken tonight and diligently works to implement policy that keeps student safe.

[Maxwell Alejandro Frost @MaxwellFrostFL]

Shoutout to @MfolOcsa and @FlStuPwr for hosting a powerful protest and then telling the school board how it is. Young organizers are leading movements across the country and our leaders better start listening.

more resources!

[March For Our Lives OCSA @MfolOcsa]

Join us Tuesday at 4:30pm to protest school resource officers in schools. For years, SROs have contributed to unsafe learning environments and it's time to recognize the dangers putting cops in schools has had and what stronger solutions can be enacted to keep students safe.

The next Osceola County school board meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 2nd at 5:30 PM. Cops don’t belong in schools

We will be protesting at each board meeting this month. If anyone is interested in speaking and wants help preparing or practicing, our chapter will be hosting informational sessions and speech workshops tomorrow, the 11th, and the 14th at 5:30pm! DM us if you'd like more info.

We have witnessed how careless teachers and faculty are being treated in this county, and we believe that there are more responsible ways the board can handle the pandemic. Here are some of the concerns we will be addressing over the next few months until changes are made.

[Maxwell Alejandro Frost @MaxwellFrostFL]

Super proud of @MfolOcsa and their chapter lead @heyilikeyourdog who spoke truth to power tonight at the @Osceolaschools board meeting. Forcing all students to attend school in-person is reckless and dangerous.

Defund the police and invest in communities instead.

[March For Our Lives @AMarch4OurLives]

To those of you who believe it is not our place to speak out against the killing of our fellow Black Americans, it is all of our jobs to call out racism and acknowledge our internal biases. Our police force should serve the people, not kill them.

[March For Our Lives Florida 📢 @mfolflorida]

POLICE VIOLENCE IS GUN VIOLENCE

This week, Tony McDade was murdered by a Tallahassee PD officer. We demand justice for Tony and the Black and Trans members of our LGBTQ community in FL. We also condemn the misgendering of McDade in news coverage. #BlackLivesMatter #TonyMcDade
