A few days ago, a man joyfully danced and sang, surrounded by cheering crowds. The next day, he and his friends were arrested by the Islamic regime, and his Instagram page was shut down. Now, young Iranians are replicating his song and dance, boldly declaring to the regime: You cannot steal our happiness.
Multiple Iranian news outlets have reported that the parents and brother of Jina ‘Mahsa’ Amini were stopped by Islamic Republic authorities while they were at the airport to travel to Paris, where Jina was set to be posthumously awarded the Sakharov Prize.
Jina's parents and brother had their passports confiscated and were barred from leaving.
The Islamic Republic's cruelty knows no bounds. They murder someone’s child and then punish the family for the rest of their lives.
Parents are not allowed to publicly mourn their child, nor are they allowed to speak out as any parent would want to. They are terrorized for the crime of being loving parents.
It has been 448 days since Jina died after being beaten by the Islamic Republic’s so-called morality police. Her murder led to the Women Life Freedom uprisings in Iran and protests around the world.
The world has suddenly become a sadder place to live in with the passing of Norman Lear. He was a great positive force in the entertainment industry, & more importantly to me personally he was a good friend. We are so lucky to have his remarkable body of work to remember him by.

The Islamic regime’s morality police bully and harass women for the mere act of #WalkingUnveiled. While these oppressors film and photograph these brave women to report them, the women’s resounding response is: ‘We’re not afraid of you. #WomanLifeFreedom
After noticing that Ken slept with a photo of his late wife every night, one of the carers at Thistleton Lodge presented him with this incredible gift...
This man was forced to give his dog to the Humane Society due to undergoing lengthy hospital stay. This nurse found out and immediately went to the shelter and adopted his dog. She brings him to visit daily and will return him as soon as the man is released!
I’m a woman from Iran, I carry the wounds of war which was imposed on us by our own regime. I am Wounded but unbowed and I will continue to go to the streets to protest not only against compulsory hijab but against gender apartheid regime. We will win this battle.

This is Toby. And this is Toby's pink friend. They had to split up for bath time, which was kind of scary. But now they are clean, cozy and back together. 12/10 for both #SeniorPupSaturday
