@woodwardsports The rule says…If the batter attempts to bunt: The attempt to make contact with the ball is treated like a swing. Since the hand is not part of the bat, the pitch hitting it is a strike, not a hit-by-pitch. I played baseball my whole life and always knew this to be the rule.
