What exactly is there to be upset about? In what way did Engfa deliver a poor performance, or show that she doesn’t care about her fans? She sang so beautifully that her performance went viral that day, and she gave her all in every part. If that still isn’t enough simply because someone expressed romantic interest in her, then perhaps you need to ask yourself whether you genuinely care about her work or whether you’re expecting a relationship to unfold according to your own imagination.

And what exactly is wrong with Engfa appreciating the courage and honesty of someone who approaches her? That person openly admitted that they were genuinely pursuing her, apologized to everyone, and openly asked for the fans’ understanding and a chance. Engfa was simply appreciating their courage to acknowledge their own feelings. It doesn’t mean she has chosen anyone or confirmed a relationship with anyone. Being honest and straightforward despite knowing you might face criticism and pressure is something worth appreciating, isn’t it?

Besides, fans are fans, regardless of which fan group they belong to. As long as they show their support for her, Engfa sees them as her fans. Those who accuse her of treating people unequally may be the ones expecting her to express her love in exactly the way they want. Engfa can love and appreciate her fans without having to meet every expectation or live her life according to someone else’s demands.

Ultimately, if you’re disappointed simply because someone is pursuing her, even though she gave her all in her performance, and you interpret her honesty as a sign that she doesn’t care about her fans, then perhaps you should ask yourself whether you’re genuinely disappointed in how she fulfilled her responsibilities or simply because reality doesn’t match the image you had in mind. Supporting an artist is a personal choice, not a right to control their life. And love shouldn’t come with the condition that an artist must behave exactly as we want them to in order to prove that they care.
