🚨 URGENT

According to a source close to the family, Diana Taherabadi, a 16-year-old student, was arrested at her home in Karaj on Bahman 5 and is reportedly at risk of a death sentence.

Around 8 a.m., five officers entered the house. The family’s phones were confiscated immediately to prevent any contact. Diana was asleep when they went to her room, woke her up, and arrested her.

She was taken in handcuffs to a detention van and transferred to Kachouii Prison. She has since been taken to court in Karaj, with reports warning of a possible death sentence — yet no clear information has been given to her family, not even the name of the judge.

She has also reportedly been referred to forensic medicine for a “mental competency” evaluation.

She is only 16.

A father and daughter arrested during the January 30 protests have been sentenced:
The father to death. The daughter to 25 years in prison.

Mohammad Abbasi, 55, has been sentenced to execution on charges of “collaboration with Israel and the U.S.” and “killing a police officer.” His daughter, Fatemeh Abbasi, has been sentenced to 25 years for alleged complicity.

According to reports, the case was built on fabricated charges and a constructed narrative. It is alleged that forced confessions were extracted through threats — including sexual threats against his daughter — and physical torture.

The court has reportedly denied access to their chosen lawyer and blocked the right to appeal.

They were arrested on January 17 during nationwide protests in Malard.
