🐋 WHALE WATCH : Heres a thread covering ONDO$ last three months May August 2026:

$ONDO update: it's been an eventful summer for Ondo Finance a leadership crisis a major architecture pivot and continued institutional expansion. Heres what happened over the last 3 months.

Tragic news first: founder & CEO Nathan Allman passed away unexpectedly on May 25 at age 32. No cause of death was disclosed. President Ian De Bode was named CEO immediately with the company saying it would continue building what Nate started.

That succession has since turned into a serious corporate dispute. Allmans mother Kathleen Allman was appointed representative of his estate via Hawaii probate court in late June. His voting stake as controlling shareholder had been in limbo during that process.

The estate alleges De Bode improperly declared himself CEO and sole director before probate concluded. On July 24, the reconstituted board led by Kathleen Allman voted to strip De Bode of his roles. Three Delaware Chancery Court filings are now asking a judge to determine who actually controls the company. Unresolved as of early August.

On the product side: Ondo scrapped its planned Ondo Chain Layer 1 blockchain and instead launched Ondo Network on July 28 an off chain execution layer using trusted hardware enclaves for fast private trade matching with settlement still landing on public chains Ethereum for now.

First app on Ondo Network: Ondo Perps, a perpetual futures platform using tokenized equities/commodities as collateral. The stated rationale for the pivot execution speed not settlement was the real bottleneck for institutional users.

Hiring: former Invesco ETF chief John Hoffman joined in June to lead onchain investment products. Ondo also reportedly explored a -$500M acquisition as tokenized securities issuance passed $36B industry wide.

Market snapshot: ONDO is trading around $0.34 0.39 market cap roughly $1.7 3.5B depending on source down sharply from its -$2.14 ATH. TVL across $Ondo products has been reported near $3 5B with Ondo Global Markets tokenized stocks/ETFs topping $1.5B TVL in May.

Bottom line: strong product momentum Ondo Network Perps 24/7 markets big name partnerships is running in parallel with real corporate governance uncertainty following Allmans death. Worth watching how the Delaware case resolves it could affect strategic decisions near term.
