📷 NEW BLOG ALERT | What I Almost Missed
There are photographs you chase. And then there are photographs that quietly wait for you to notice them.
One window. One fleeting moment. Two worlds—one moving, one still.

📷 The city never gives you just one story.
Behind the glass, someone stands still. In the reflection, New York keeps moving.
Sometimes the story isn’t in what’s directly in front of you—it’s hidden in the layers.
In the in-between.

Chasing the Light | Episode One: Every Door Is a Beginning
I almost walked past this.
Just a doorway. A little light. People moving through.
Nothing extraordinary.
But then the door opened, the light poured in, and for a split second everything lined up.
Because sometimes the photograph you’re looking for is hiding in a place you’ve walked past a hundred times.
Come take a walk with me.

A 🧵
📸 And I can spot interesting light from approx. 3 blocks away… and yes, I will stop walking because I saw the light.😂
I 🩵 NYC, but I’m equally drawn to the quiet moments in everyday life-the light, shadows, reflections, people & places that make you stop and look twice.

I’ve always believed the most interesting photographs are often the moments we almost miss—a shadow, a reflection, a stranger caught in the right light, a quiet story hiding in plain sight.
MKP Street is my collection of those moments.
A thread 🧵
New York is often my canvas, but the stories go wherever I go.
A new pivot for my photography. I’d love to have you along.
Take a look, tell me what catches your eye, and most importantly — look closely. There’s always more to see.

Silhouettes reveal what details conceal. In the reflection, identities dissolve into shape, gesture & light. The city becomes part of the story—not the subject.
Sometimes a puddle reminds us: perspective changes everything. What do you see first— silhouette, reflection, or city?
In the heart of Times Square.
One of my favorite things about NYC is how welcoming it is to people from around the world. There is a place for everyone in this city and the city inspires you to chase your dreams no matter who you are and where you are from in the world.
