We’re proud to announce that Miami County Park District has been recognized as Elite in the Lexipol Readiness Recognition Program for excellence in policy management, the highest level in the program.
Prevent break-ins by taking simple precautions:
• Lock your doors
• Take your keys
• Hide/remove valuables
• Park in well-lit areas
• Never leave firearms or important documents inside your vehicle
Locked vehicles with no valuables in sight are far less tempting to thieves.

Spring Forward
On Sunday, March 8th, at 2 a.m. we spring forward an hour. Yes, you may be losing an hour a sleep, but look at the bright side, summer is that much closer! Don't forget to set all your clocks an hour ahead before you go to sleep tonight.
Due to the large amount of snowfall, park openings on Monday will be delayed and some parks may not open. Parks may also close early due to extremely low temperatures. The offices at Lost Creek Reserve & Charleston Falls Preserve will be closed. Check back for updates.
Due to current weather conditions, the Holiday Lights at Lost Creek Reserve will be closed Sat, Dec 13 to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
Also, all Miami County Park District parks will close early as weather conditions continue to impact park operations.
Last night's Holiday Lights volunteer group was Awakenings Christian Fellowship. They brought plenty of holiday cheer as they greeted visitors.
We look forward to seeing you tonight from 6-9 p.m. — Santa will be making an appearance, thanks to Kasi Services of Troy!
