Starting a season-long thread.
Instead of just Bam 3s - showing defenses reacting to the threat of him being spaced.
Here we see Ivey rotate over to take away the pop - he can't cover the Jaime cut and Cade has to be worried about it - forcing the long closeout
I think this on Jimmy for not being patient. I liked Bam’s idea to set the flare for Duncan. To me that is a good answer to the help Embiid is showing, just wasn’t executed well
Another Butler ISO in the post vs Lowry but also notice where Embiid is helping off Bam
There needs to be better off-ball movement/decoy actions to either exploit that help or take the help away
+ you have Herro/Haywood just standing with Caleb/PG foot in the paint
As I’ve been talking about nonstop this season, the only thing better than Herro-Duncan-Bam lineups are their actions together
Spain PnR: Herro gets downhill and finds Duncan on the slip
The misdirection leads to a swing and an open Jimmy 3
This is all Tyler and Jimmy again
The Heat went on a run to start the second quarter last night with some nice offense.
They started 4 possessions early in the quarter with the same set and they were able to get to a few different actions out of it.

It makes it that much more frustrating when you see stretches with lots of stagnation, but hopefully we'll continue to see more stretches like this going forward

I really liked this stretch of offense for Miami. This set got the ball to players in spots they're comfortable in, but it was done in a way that keeps constant pressure on the defense.
Really really nice possession from Ware here.
Rotates down to take away the Obi layup, recovers out to the shooter and gets himself back into the play and gets the rebound.
Encouraging stuff from the young rook
