Also, it was Mango and Gus Gus’s 2nd birthday yesterday. (Yes, brothers from the same litter despite looking nothing alike). They wore their ties, went out to lunch, and went on the boat. All in all, great day, they don’t get together often, despite living only 130 miles apart

I won’t be mad if they tell me I have cancer one day. I smoked like a chimney for roughly 2 decades, I drank like a fish. My dad did too and died bc of it. I lived recklessly. I have plenty of genetic markers. It’s the unfair ones that get me though. They’re worth fighting for ❤️

I love the @SU2C moments in World Series games. When I worked for the marlins the year we had the ASG, we did it too. I had so many names, I was holding 4 cards, filled up. Unfortunately, I’ve lost many loved ones to cancer, many others fighting/fought&beat that dreadful disease.

All we can do is keep fighting. Try to find a cure. I don’t know if I’ll live long enough to see it, but I believe it’s out there, somewhere. I just hope that someone smarter than I am finds it. I’ve watched too many that I love lose that fight. And it really wears on the soul.

If you know me, you know I’ve abused the hell out of my body, and I’ve paid the price for it. But so many get cancer for no damn reason. They lived otherwise healthy lives. That’s what gets me. My mama, my aunt, 2 grandmas, plenty of others didn’t deserve that fate.
