Consciousness is non-material. It can be expressed in and through matter, but it properly belongs to another level of description, expression, or existence.

@MccardJoseph Bricks form a house. They don’t become habitable in the process. Conversely, habitability, which is a property of houses, don’t need to exist at the level of the components of the house, for the house the have it.

And I think I know what I like about it, btw: The fact that an antimeme requires effort to spread. In that it doesn't spread easily.
Why? Because it contains a significant amount of uncomfortable truth; that's why.
