For over a year I posted regular videos on LinkedIn to share my thoughts and experience on leadership and professional development. Every video was in a @Chipotle parking lot. I called it…

Should I bring it back?

I'm also always looking for questions people have about leadership, team development, coaching, and the CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) assessment.
Leave a comment with a question, and I'll post a video with my response.
3) Become a Master at Hiring - Hiring well doesn't happen by accident. It requires effort and discernment. The stakes are much higher than many leaders recognize, as the trajectory of your team recalibrates with every new hire.
We cover principles used by world-class coaches to help you as a leader build an empowered and self-sufficient team. It's a live training, workshop format, w/ opportunities to network and engage with other leaders.
6) Self-love and acceptance is sorely lacking - and it's a key ingredient to many of the traits we long for (confidence, gratitude, forgiveness, generosity, trust). You're not alone. You're not broken. You have so much to offer the world. You just need to believe that.
2) Comparison is toxic and rampant - it's everywhere and it's almost never productive (although I believe there are exceptions). We have a tendency to compare our weaknesses to others' strengths. You're different, and that's good.
5) Mindset is unbelievably powerful - you believe what you think and say. If you get in the habit of telling yourself the world is out to get you and you're a failure, or that you are amazing and you can do anything...you start to believe it.
1) People are too hard on themselves - you're doing better than you think. Give yourself more credit for what you've achieved and give yourself more grace for what you've overcome.
Leaders, how do you keep your top talent?
And how do you get more out of all of your employees?
Help them discover their natural talents, set clear outcomes/expectations, and give them the autonomy to find THEIR way of achieving those outcomes.

Not only is it rewarding to watch an employee find themselves and thrive, but your job as a leader is easier when you trust your people to do good work their way.
Strengths-based development is a cheat code for great leadership.
