I’m going to need to have a conversation with whoever thought my face needed to be this big on the promo poster for this revival meeting🤦♂️ This is going to keep people away, not bring them in😂
There are few things more relaxing than a drizzly fall day and a good book to pass the time… and 4 kids screaming “WE FOUND A BUG AND WE WANT TO KEEP IT AS A PET!!”
What a privilege to sit for a few hours with a mentor and hero of mine today and just fellowship. I’m NOT putting the generation I look up to in the grave, but there will come a day, if the Lord tarries, when I’ll wish I could sit and just listen to another story again.
I try to be careful with that word, hero. I know men of God are men at best, but I’m thankful for the faithfulness of the men (and women) that gave me the truth I get to carry today.

Wednesday Update from New Zealand!
Out the door at 6:15 AM and on the way to Milford Sound, one of the most iconic spots in New Zealand. Took two hours to get there, but to say it was worth would be quite the understatement! I’ve seen some pretty incredible places, but this was awe-inspiring. Gods creation is something to behold!
After Milford and more successful filming we got back to our host’s home and reset for some exciting stuff in the afternoon! To tell Peter’s story properly, we were excited to include motocross. He’s rides professionally and coaches many Kiwi motocross riders all over the country. I can’t tell you how much we are looking forward to sharing his story!
Continue to pray some minor details get worked out in God’s plan as we continue to film stories of God’s grace.
We just released a brand new single from @goodheritage24! Here’s a sneak peek! More info and all streaming links can be found at https://t.co/r4SQJHGUBZ.
What a privilege it was to interview Mrs. Judy Gearis! Her insights on marriage and ministry are incredible. This dear lady’s late husband was Dr. Ron Gearis. If you don’t know him, you will wish you had. Take some time to watch and listen. https://t.co/CQQ76j8ixy
Today’s episode of Bible Tract Echoes is a word to the wise for all of you that will be in close quarters with family this Christmas… please don’t be an antagonist or allow this wonderful season to be overshadowed by past pain. I hope this Bible Study (and testimony from Kenya) is a help! Merry Christmas!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words… this one is worth that and much more to me. This picture grabs my soul and squeezes.
This is Pastor David. He lives in a tiny mountain village on the slopes of Mount Elgon. He, and his precious wife, Karen, minister to the small church God has entrusted to his care here in Kenya. I met this dear man of God while in Kenya just a few days ago. He is just one of many I met, but he made an impression on me.
Do you see the hunger in Pastor David’s eyes the way I do? Do you see how thirsty he is for the Bible truths that are being preached by my friend, Bagyi Bob Dewitt? I see an intensity I’m ashamed to admit I seldom have…
It appears to me, in the short time I’ve known Pastor David, and you can probably tell, he is raising his children, Joy, Gracious, Shadrach (pictured with his father), and Anna, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Do you see Shadrach’s eyes locked onto the translator, my new friend and Kenyan brother, Pastor Samwell? Pastor Sammy is translating the message into Swahili, and Shadrach is too young to understand the country’s second language, English, so he looks at the man he understands.
If you’ve ever wondered “why take a mission’s trip?” Or “why support your church’s mission’s program?” Or maybe you’ve even questioned “is it all really worth it?”
This picture answers those questions. This Pastor that works outside of the church to support his family on less than a couple hundred dollars a month answers those questions and any others you may have.
Yes, it’s worth it.
I remember where I was on September 11th, 2001. I was a boy living in Germany because my Dad was stationed there in the U.S. Army. I recall AFN (Armed Forces Network) covering the events of that day. On @BibleTractsInc radio broadcast today, I asked our staff for their stories...
This recommendation does NOT tick some of those boxes but I’ve become a fan of @GoodnotesApp for IPad. Not sure what device you are on but I’d definitely recommend it even though it’s “just” a notebook essentially. I’ve used some apps (like @EchoPrayer_) that have prayer specific functionalities but prefer my current set up for the following reasons:
1. It’s infinitely editable. Because it’s not a paper notebook, erasing and rewriting don’t cause issues.
2. It’s infinitely customizable. I don’t have to set up my prayer list like another app or anyone else thinks I should. Not to mention that I’ve got sermon notes, my journal, song writing notes, etc neatly organized in the app, as well. (And searchable even with my bad handwriting). I have my prayer list outlined and could easily segment it into different days etc. But, I could easily drag entire pages into a different section as needed. You may be able to mimic most of the features you’d want.
3. It’s infinitely expandable. I’d assume most prayer apps are, but this is a major reason I prefer this option over paper. I was about to start on yet another paper notebook, and finally bit the bullet and went this route.
Honorable mention: This isn’t specific to this app, but it’s in the cloud. So it’s always available even if I don’t have my iPad.
My apologies since this might be of no use to you, but I got started and figured why stop!:) I’d love to further discuss my set up (keep in mind, I’m no amazing prayer warrior) if it would be a help, either continued here on @X, or offline.
BTW, I’ve added you, your dad, and the church to my prayer list:)
I find it can be difficult to post personal things without feeling self-serving, but my excitement has overcome my hesitation:)
My first publicly released song is now available for streaming!
“The Old Kitchen Table” tells the story of my father-in-law’s prodigal years and how his mother’s prayers and God’s grace made the difference. The Lord led me to write it a few months ago right before the Homegoing of Lena Woodward (Grandma Great or as she was known to my kids, Gigi) and I’m excited to share it with you now!

@WBCBowie Amen! Told a Pastor friend today: Thankful to know God has broken harder hearts, and has mended more strained relationships than I can even imagine. 🙏
