Revolutions rarely end well. The French Revolution was followed by decades of monarchy and war. The Bolshevik Revolution produced communist rule. The Iranian Revolution produced a theocracy. The Cuban Revolution produced Castro. Same with the Arab spring which just entrenched the dictatorships.

What you want is gradual change

Too much accelerated change at once destabilizes a society. It outruns institutional adaptation and creates demand for concentrated power, which is often worse than the original conditions.

A society can go through transformation, but it needs time for adaptation. Like any other living organism. It needs ------time-------

Revolution compresses that process into months or years.
