@kalanoros The girl in the middle has her face blurred out, the clock in the background has the hands looking like they’re spinning at great speed, & there is something artificial about the perfect smiles/perfect eye contact everyone is making with the camera. Definitely AI generated.
@itsme_urstruly I didn’t know you could do this! 😭 We used to have a huge honeysuckle vine in our yard and it smelled divine and now I regret not tasting the nectar myself!
@hisgaldeb@bobbisymonee@metroadlib@SupernovaMomma There is ample scientific evidence that multi-tasking is largely a myth. It taxes the brain in “switch-tasking”, which means that instead of giving 100% to 1 thing, you’re giving, at best, 70% divided into 3. Which means they all suffer

@LionKing171717@Matthew_S_Love@amyoder No I’m not, which, coincidentally, has nothing to do with libraries. Might I suggest putting down your phone and picking up a book?
@kacdnp91 Ask for a rabies titer test. It determines whether your cat has the antibodies. Enough antibodies & the vax isn’t necessary, unless you travel internationally with them. Our vet doesn’t care. 11-year-old hasn’t had a vax since he was 3. Our 4-year-old got her kitten series only

But they’ll also provide you with more love & laughter than you can imagine
@hikingtheglobe0 Lower Manhattan in the center, Liberty Island at the extreme left, Brooklyn is the entire bottom half (the 2 dark areas are Green-Wood Cemetery to the left, Prospect Park to the right), Jersey City is just above the water (Hudson River), & Newark is way near the top of the image.
Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend
@LionKing171717@Matthew_S_Love@amyoder Wow. Bad mood. I’m just frustrated that you seem to be putting down people who genuinely learned all these words, either through education, reading, watching tv, meeting people. Just because SOME don’t or can’t doesn’t negate that many did and can. You are the one generalizing
