GRACE & FAVOUR FOR MAY
It’s interesting that when you read the book of Esther, you actually don’t see the name of God ever mentioned. But though you may not see the name of God, the fingerprints of God are all over this book.
The verse indicates that Esther found not just favour as we all know, but the she found grace too before the king.
I believe the combination of grace and favour in this context means that she was not just liked but in addition she received kindness.
This is the beginning of the story of Esther. Specifically, this is the verse where she becomes the Queen.
And it is one of a number of different circumstances in this book that you see the sovereign hand of God working in and through.
Esther 2:17 NKJV
The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
FOUND IN CORRIDORS OF POWER
The spider
Wisdom does not always come from the mighty or strong, however God sometimes hides His wisdom in the small and overlooked things in nature.
Proverbs 30:28 NKJV
The spider skillfully grasps with its hands, And it is in kings’ palaces.
appointment to be given access.
That is not the case for a spider.
The spider teaches us creativity, persistence and resilience. It has nothing but just its hands.
A spider is despised and fragile, yet through weaving it's web skillfully it finds itself in prominent places even to the King's palace.
A king's palace is a fortified place. It is not the type of place that you can walk in and walk randomly or at will, and you will need an...
The wisdom of the rock-badger is that, though I am not that strong, I will secure my home among the rocks.
Jesus is our rock and in difficult moments we must find refuge in Him.

STRATEGY OVER STRENGTH
The Rock-badger
In our moments of weakness and vulnerability, we must find a safe and secure place to hide.
Proverbs 30:26 TPT
The delicate rock-badger isn’t all that strong, yet look how it makes a secure home, nestled in the rocks.
The concept of the rock-badger teaches us that we should not let our weakness be a limitation. Our strength may dwindle during this life journey but we should not allow ourselves to become a prey to the enemy.
We must be self aware to know our areas of challenges and secure them
We need to understand that we need a community to be able to achieve some tasks God has placed on our hearts.
You need a team, a tribe and a community.

LOCUSTS COOPERATION
We were not created to be islands. Man was created for community.
Proverbs 30:27 TPT
[27] The locusts have no king to lead them, yet they cooperate as they move forward by bands.
The locusts as designed by God are there to show us the power of teamwork.
They are the most devastating insects in bands who can consume a field in no time. In fact, it is stated that a swarm of locusts can consume food capable of feeding 35,000 people in hours.
And they achieve these by coming together, united and focused on a task without any leader
As important as leadership is, we must understand that you don't always need a supervisor or overseer, learn from the tiny ant and gain wisdom.

One thing we can glean from the life of the ant is self leading and self motivation. We must endeavour to pursue God's purposes for our lives with or without supervision from men.
No one tells the ant what to do, and you will see them working hard and toiling all summer.

Proverbs 6:6-8 NKJV
Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest.
We are admonished to go to the ant and learn its ways.

NEW WEEK DRIVE
A new week is full of fresh plans. We are very eager to step out and start executing our laid down plans.
Proverbs 16:3 GNT
Ask the Lord to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out.
The first thing we must do is to commit those plans to God. We do this by trusting them to Him so He blesses them all.
By so doing, He causes our thoughts and plans to become agreeable to His will. Then those plans become established and successful.
